What We Do
After School & Summer programs at the PEP Education Center in Florence Villa.

Advocacy – advocating and helping to fund academies and advanced curriculum programs and a host of other needs in our schools

Why You’ll Love Us
The need is great and the impact is greater. If just one student we serve breaks the familial cycle of generational poverty, the cost to run our programs for a year will be more than paid for in that student’s lifetime.
Read the quotes below from a student, tutor, and teacher about the impact PEP’s programs have imparted and know that there are hundreds more. Please join us on this rewarding journey.
“Student”
“I like coming here. I didn’t know how to read and now I do!” – Alonzo
“Teacher”
Ready Set Read has really helped support students to get them the extra support they need to push them to the next level. This one-on-one tutoring helps them focus and provides the much-needed differentiated instruction. Mrs. Smith – First Grade Teacher Garden Grove
“Tutor”
“When students come to me knowing just a few letters and sounds it is magical to assist them in putting those two things together to read words. I tell my student that once they learn the alphabet, I can teach them the “secret code” to reading! They feel like they have a secret power that enables them to do anything!” Merari- Garner Elementary tutor
