PEP has numerous initiatives that need volunteers! Below is a list of current needs.
The city of Winter Haven celebrated its centennial with a commitment to its schools. Ultimately, the steering committee identified 14 areas that could be improved through community involvement and over time this list has been honed and developed to include:
- After School and Summer Programs
- Art/Music Programs
- Career Connection
- Character/Leadership Building Programs
- Early Childhood Education
- Education of Parents/Community
Each of these initiatives is in varying stages of development – both in concept and implementation. Please consider choosing to volunteer a portion of your time and talents to improving public education for all students in the greater Winter Haven area. Please contact the chairman of any of these committees for more information.
